I have a problem with the Canon MV530i driver.

I have a Canon MV530i camera, for which I do not have the driver to install it on my PC. I searched on the Canon website but couldn't find it.
Can someone please help me

    Hi,

    Normally, if you are using the FireWire interface, you don't need drivers. Your camera should be recognized automatically.
    Check if your FireWire (IEEE1394) card is up to date.
    It could also be a problem with the camera. If you have the chance, try it on another PC.

      The answer is still correct: you just need to connect the camcorder via the DV port using FireWire, and there’s no need for a specific driver; XP recognizes the 530i immediately.
      Note: the DV port is located at the bottom of the device, on the front face (you need to lift a sort of cover).

    What cable can I use with a MAC? I used to use a FireWire with my old PC, but my iBook doesn't have a FireWire port..
    If anyone has information on using the Canon MV530i Camcorder with a Mac, I would be interested!
