Disable automatic slideshow launch

Hello,

When I open a pps file, the slideshow starts automatically. I cannot modify my file. How can I disable the automatic launch and open the pps file normally? Thank you

Configuration: Windows Vista / Safari 534.10

    Hello,
    Right click on your PPS and select New, it will be opened with Power Point at this stage you can modify it and save it again with the PPS or PPT extension so that it does not open automatically

    A .pps file is a .ppt (PowerPoint) file that has been set up to be opened directly in slideshow mode. You need to convert your file back to .ppt format in order to edit it.
