Change the icon of a .bat file

Question

I'm trying to change the icons of the different .bat files on my desktop to be able to recognize them more easily from one another, but I can't do it :'(
Does anyone have an idea for me?

Not possible as far as I know.  However, you can place shortcuts to .BAT files on your desktop and change the icon of those shortcuts. It works very well :)

If you want, you can turn it into a .exe and I believe you can use software to change the icon of an .exe
You right-click on the .bat file and choose "Edit"
Then you land in Notepad and you click on save as.
And instead of typing .bat, you put it as .exe and it becomes software!
And you download software to change the icon!

No, you cannot write the source code in batch (extension .bat) and save your file as .exe. You will get a compilation error and it won't work!

You can convert them into .exe files with the icons of your choice.

An .exe file I created from a .bat to stop the Conime.exe process

Which is not bad in itself, but prevents deleting a folder after using Universal Extractor.
