A mini mushroom - new super mario bros [DS]

Hello,
In the game New Super Mario Bros (DS), I would like to have a mini mushroom (a mushroom that makes you tiny) but without going into a mushroom house or a level!! So I thought "there must be a code" but I don't have an "Action Replay"... :'(

So, is there a code (but no Action Replay)???

    I've been searching for a long time and there is no other code than:
    Luigi: L+R+A during a section of a file
    and the one for challenge mode: L+R+L+R+X+X+Y+Y from the pause menu.
