Lost wow account

Hello,
I have a rather unusual problem. About a year ago, World of Warcraft partnered with Battle.net, and at that time I stopped playing the game, leaving my account without merging it with Battle.net.

Today I would like to play this game again, but when I search for my WoW account or create a Battle.net account to merge it, they tell me that it has already been merged. It’s as if my WoW account was merged with a Battle.net account without my knowledge. I might have had my account stolen, which I find hard to believe, and I can’t even talk about it on the WoW forum because you need to have an account with an active character to post a message.

I would really appreciate a quick response if anyone has encountered this problem or can relay this message through their own account on the WoW forum.

    Yes, but I think we synchronized my account to battle.net wow without notifying me.
