WARNING !! SCAM ON FACEBOOK !! I received a message from a certain Pierre MARCON who claims to be donating €100,000; see his message below. They come from Benin in Africa and will very likely demand money to supposedly transfer this donation !! SHARE THIS MESSAGE !!

“Hello,

I am Pierre MARCON, a Canadian-born officer,
hospitalized in Europe for health reasons. I suffer from a tumor
in the brain. The results of some of my medical tests indicate that... my days on earth are numbered. Unfortunately, I have no family or children who could benefit from this money. It was advised to me by the Father of my church and spiritual guide to make a donation so that the LORD can forgive me my sins, as I have engaged in illegal trafficking in drugs and arms during my journey. You are therefore the beneficiary of €100,000. I offer it to you from the bottom of my heart. Please accept it and make good use of it. I only ask for prayers so that my operation goes very well. Please write to my lawyer to receive your donation as it already belongs to you from now on. My lawyer’s email:

I preferred to warn about this on this forum, so that those who have "doubts" regarding a message of this type on Facebook, when they search the internet, come across this warning, so that they don't get fooled because: YES! unfortunately, some believe in it!

I received exactly the same message on Facebook!!! They just changed the name of the so-called "donor"; in this case, it's more of a scammer!! Only the names of this person and the lawyer are indeed names of existing people!!!

  This kind of scam has been going on for at least 10 years (not necessarily on Facebook, but also via email, forums, etc...)
  
  And given the frantic pace at which these scams are being spammed, there are indeed some suckers. In a short report at 8 PM, it was estimated that several tens of millions of euros were scammed through these "Nigerian" scams, just for France.
