Hello, I have a problem with the drive on my Compaq Presario F500 laptop.
I tried to open it, but it doesn’t open, and when I click on eject, the computer gives me this message: An error occurred while ejecting << DVD RW Drive (F:).
Please help me resolve this issue.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0

    Normally, on the front of your player, there is a tiny hole where you can insert a needle and press.

      Good evening,

      I can no longer eject my CD from my Acer laptop when I press the eject button. It says "no CD in the drive" and another message saying "an error occurred while ejecting the CD."
      I've tried using a paperclip in the small hole on the drive but nothing happened, and I've tried this function 6 times which gives me a sound.
      I also attempted to reinstall the DVD drive, but nothing changed; the same message keeps appearing. Thank you in advance.
