Hello,
I just bought Black Ops (lv7) and I would like to know which weapon I should invest in.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.3

    Hello, I am level 44. Here is the class I am currently playing:
    - Commando + Holographic sight (deal big damage up close or far away)
    - Rocket launcher (to kill enemies hiding behind something, e.g.: headquarters)
    - Perk 1: Pro Scavenger (doubles magazine capacity and allows for additional tactical grenade recovery)
    - Perk 2: Pro Sleight of Hand (improves hip-fire accuracy, aims faster after sprinting)
    - Perk 3: Pro Marathon (infinite sprint)
    - Lethal: Fragmentation grenade
    - Tactical: Flash
    - Equipment: Claymore
    - Killstreaks: 1. Spy plane 2. Care package 3. Chopper gunner

    Try the AK-74U with a suppressor, it should be pretty good, and then take the AK :) But otherwise, you’ll notice that it's usually the first one to shoot who gets the kill ;)

    for me:

    THERE IS NO BETTER WEAPON THAN THE FEELING THAT HAPPENS!

    except there are necessarily "trend" weapons

    my ratings:

    famas (silencer otherwise it’s crap lol) holo sight if you want thanks to warlord!

    ak74u grip but I call it the "cheat" weapon lol

    the augh is not bad and the mac11 too

    if you are skilled I even recommend the powerful stakeout when you kill someone it’s magnificent lol

    perks

    implacable pro: allows you to change your package into a better package

    ghost: the camper's perk

    lightweight if you’re using the submachine gun in quick games

    sleight of hand is essential in my opinion or scavenger for those who make big streaks

    marathon is not bad second chance disgusts me and it’s totally a big cheat for me a noob perk ;)

    hacker is mandatory in S&D

      Finally, someone who understood that it's time to change weapons! Personally, I recommend the Olympia as a shotgun! On Nuketown, on the 22-11, rushing with the Olympia.

    I am level 50 prestige 3 and I play with:
    Primary weapon: M16 + extended magazine.
    Secondary weapon: CZ75 + rapid fire.
    Equipment: Semtex + flash grenade + claymore.
    Perks: Bulletproof vest + sleight of hand + Ninja.

    2nd class:
    AK47 with silencer (if you play hardcore) otherwise without attachment.
    Ballistic knife.
    Equipment: Semtex + flash grenade + C4.
    Perks: Lightweight + sleight of hand + gas mask.

    There you go, you know everything, but a personal tip: I play hardcore Headquarters, it’s the game mode where you earn the most XP.

      I don't really understand the logic of putting a double magazine on a weapon like the M16 where the magazine empties slowly since you fire in bursts of 3 shots.

      And for your second question, why not add accessories if you're not playing in hardcore mode? At worst, you can put on a laser sight.

    Personally, for fast players, I recommend the MPL Silent + Featherweight, Quick Fix, Second Chance
    OR

    Laser Sight Spectre with Featherweight, Quick Fix, Second Chance

    Then for the second weapon, a Python X2 or a C725 X2.

      Silencer is ridiculously bad, it causes serious damage.
      The best weapon?
      There isn't one.

      For my part, it's either an AK47 with a double magazine and pro sleight of hand: loading is the most important for kill streaks and the magazine is upgraded.
      Don't use semtex grenades: no damage
      The second weapon is irrelevant, serves no purpose except to take down helicopters.

      Otherwise, I play with a sniper rifle depending on the terrain, of course.

      And pro relentless is an awesome perk... remove the bulletproof vest, it's useless since there's a grenade indicator.

    Hello, I would like to know your complete class. I'll tell you mine:

    primary: famas + silencer

    secondary: the third rocket launcher, I kill the planes with it

      Not bad, but Python akimbo is not very precise. The series of victories are good. For Atout 1, I wouldn't have put Implacable Pro but Bulletproof Vest Pro.

    For me, the best weapons are: - MAC 11:::Equipment: Fast bullets
    :::Perks: - Scavenger
    - Quick Reload
    - Second Chance
    (The MAC 11 looks like a tin can, but it is very powerful. If you follow my perks and equipment, you'll see that it empties its magazine in 2 seconds, or 10 bullets/second. So it's important to reload quickly and have ammunition thanks to the Scavenger perk)

    (My rating: 8.8/10)(Map Type: Small)
    - FAMAS:::Equipment: Silencer
    Holo Sight
    :::Perks: - Scavenger
    - Warfare Lord
    - Second Chance
    (The FAMAS is very effective. I compare it to the Galil; both allow you a good firing power at long distances, but it's up to you to choose between the FAMAS and Galil)

    (My rating: 7.6/10)(Map Type: Medium and Large)

    - AK47:::Equipment: Holo Sight
    Silencer
    :::Perks: - Scavenger
    - Warfare Lord
    - Second Chance
    (The AK47 is very powerful; it has a great firepower and can kill from afar, but you must absolutely shoot in bursts because it has a lot of recoil.)

    For me, the FAMAS is cheating, but after that, we can't do anything with weapons. I take:

    AK74U + grip or grip + laser sight
    secondary Python akimbo (two weapons)

    tomahawk, flash grenade, and claymore

    perk 1: relentless pro
    perk 2: sleight of hand pro
    perk 3: second chance pro or hacker pro

    Personally, I pull out the commando or the FAMAS, if possible with a suppressor and pro ghost, you're just invisible, it's a real pleasure.

    As a secondary, as long as your weapon does well at close range or in some kind of close combat that doesn’t necessarily get resolved by a knife stab, the crossbow is practical for taking care of campers and scaring off the guys capturing a point, etc.

    I'm not a big fan of laser or holographic sights... Firstly because sometimes they can dazzle you or you can't see anything due to brightness, and because they obstruct your peripheral vision, and the basic sight of the weapon is rarely bad (in MW2, the sights on certain weapons were really terrible...) so you might as well take advantage of something else, a large magazine for spray and pray or a dual-wield.

    In case you don't have a weapon that does well at close distance (like, for taking down a guy running near you with a FAL or even an M16), a gun with a large magazine or that deals big damage will do the job.

    I have a preference for the Makarov with dual magazine.

      The M16 does the job very well as long as you know how to handle it, of course. Regarding the second weapon, I often take the CZ75 + two weapons for enemies that are close to me, or I equip my M16 with a shotgun accessory (masterkey) or a flamethrower. With the IMPENETRABLE perk, then SLEIGHT OF HAND and MARATHON or SCAVENGER, all in pro, it’s naturally deadly!!! With a Tomahawk or Semtex, then a flash grenade and C4 or Claymore.
      I won't mention my SNIPER class for the good reason that I don't want to (top secret!!!). I also play with the KIPARIS + two weapons (for small maps like Nuketown...)
      I really like using heavy machine guns (especially the HK21) + Extended Mag + Holo Sight = significant suppressive firepower with a 60-round magazine (which avoids frequent reloading because it takes a bit of time) and this sight to shoot a bit further. Apart from the M16, I don't find much that’s good (in assault rifles), maybe the FAMAS or the GALIL.

    Hello everyone, I recommend the Galil with a deadly silencer: Semtex, then a flash grenade, and as perks, I suggest Ghost or Unstoppable. Then, use Flak Jacket and Hacker, and if you don’t have Hacker, watch out for claymores and also take a claymore with you. So, in my opinion, this is the best setup, but everyone has their own style ;)

      Hmm... FAMAS you're right: precise, good firepower, and it hardly moves when you shoot with it. I think it's a very good choice.
      But... I prefer the M16 which will always remain a powerful and accurate weapon.

      Hello, I recommend the AK74U for quick firing to take out enemies faster, and a tiger skin for the class ^^ then Python with a fast magazine, followed by Semtex, Flash, and Claymore for perks: 1 Bulletproof Vest Pro, 2 Heavy Impact Pro, 3 Second Chance Pro. For killstreaks, use RC-XD, Napalm Strike, and Attack Helicopter. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed =)

    Hello,

    I recommend the AK74u when you reach a higher level (17) with Grip, Bulletproof Vest, Sleight of Hand, Ninja if you're in Search and Destroy, and Hacker is pretty good when you're in Pro :) That's it.

    I play Black Ops on the Xbox 360, Prestige 4, Grade 17 :)

    For me, Prestige 1 level 50 would be:

    Commando or AK47 with a dual magazine and silencer (with the perk that goes with it, of course)
    Unstoppable Pro, Second Chance Pro, Warlord Pro,

    or with the crossbow (which I don't like too much)

    or the last pistol (I can't remember the name) with semi-auto fire.

    You can frag pretty quickly with the pistol and you run much faster! There you go.
