Filezilla: file transfer ignored...

Hello everyone,

Filezilla is starting to annoy me... In short, I'm on edge... ;-)

Here's the symptom: I've been working on updating my site for a few hours using Filezilla without any issues, and suddenly it starts to "Ignore my file upload". "File transfer ignored," it kindly tells me...
And at that point, it's impossible to update my site... I don't understand what's going on.
It's a PHP file for updating my blog. So just a few KB, nothing serious in terms of size.

I had read that there could be issues with 1&1 (I'm on shared hosting) and I added a .htaccess file. But that hasn't helped...

Do you have any ideas or have you encountered this hassle before?

Thanks in advance, guys!

Configuration: Mac OS X / Firefox 3.6.11

    Continuation, problem still present.
    Another solution that worked:

    Edit --> Settings --> Transfer
Action when file exists --> Download and send --> Choose to replace the file.

Filezilla for some unknown reason has set "Ignore file"

I hope this can be helpful.

Oops, sorry, what kind of details would you need to clarify?
On the software side: I have the latest version of FileZilla,
On the hosting side: I'm with 1&1 on shared hosting
On the code side, here's what it indicates when I try to upload a file
      Starting the upload of /Users/nico/Desktop/.../header.php
      Command: CWD /
      Response: 250 CWD command successful
      Command: PWD
Response: 257 "/" is the current directory
      Status: Skipping upload of /Users/nico/Desktop/.../header.php
      Status: File transfer skipped

      Thank you.

Maybe you have run out of space on your FTP.
Or there is some maintenance going on with 1&1..

Thank you for your reply, but on the space side, no worries
maintenance of 1&1? How to know?

I set everything to 777, just to see
I thought I understood that it could unblock things
it worked long enough to update two files
but now, again, the files are being ignored... without me going back to my previous configuration...

I had the same problem, I simply closed FileZilla and then restarted it; if that doesn't work, restart your computer.

    Hello,

I'm bringing this up again, but I had the same issue. A file is ignored when I try to upload it using drag and drop with the mouse. But when I right-click on the same file and select "send", it works. If this can help someone, great!

    Hello,

Solution, after restarting FileZilla, rebooting without success, I deleted the remote file and re-uploaded the file to the server. Success.

    There you go :-)
