Hello,
Here, I'm using Windows XP and I just downloaded the software: ti-connect
So I click on my downloaded program and right-click, send to ti unit.
Then my PC starts a search for the instrument on port com1 or 2 and does not detect my calculator :'(
Can you please help me?
Thanks in advance :)
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.10

For those who might have the same problem but couldn't solve it:
Even though I'm well aware that the topic is outdated, I believe my answer could help others as I found the solution! After trying everything I could find, I explored the TIConnect installation folder and the solution is there:
- First, I recommend choosing the latest version 1.6.1 of TIConnect available here: https://education.ti.com/en/software/details/fr/14D11109C9F44D55B9BBF65E5A62E7F1/swticonnectsoftwareforwindows
- Next, go to the installation folder of the software: Local disk -> Program files (x86)-> TI Education -> TI Connect and run the TIOSDownloader software
- Then select your calculator model and your type of connection, which I believe will be "USB" (this is actually why the calculator was not detected) and update your calculator's firmware.
- Open TI Connect, your calculator will be automatically detected! :)
The origin of the problem was therefore, in my opinion, due to the calculator's firmware that did not support the connection with the USB cable.
