Default font used in shells

Hello,
I would like to know what the default font(s) used in Linux shells are. In fact, I need to reproduce a shell in an image (using Paint) and the font should look like the one commonly used. (It shouldn't be Times New Roman, for example)

    It's the Monospace with 12pts.
    To find out, just open the terminal, click on edit, then profile preferences.
