Blocked BIOS Solved

Question

Hello,

I have a big problem...^^
For some time now, my PC has been freezing at startup on the ASUS motherboard page... I practically have to restart it every time!
Additionally, the first screen displayed at startup indicated at the bottom, express gate installation is incomplete...

First problem.

I tried to fix this by launching ASUS UPDATE. I checked the version of my BIOS, which is 1012.
Update completed, I restart.
I encounter a new display of my motherboard (don’t care^^),
then follows another "Marvell 88SE... BIOS version... disk information S0 and S1 in SATA...,"

For now, everything is fine!

But then comes the 3rd screen..."American Megatrends-
Please enter setup to recover BIOS-
Press F1 to run setup-
Press F2 to load default values and continue"

And there, I can’t do anything, it doesn’t want to cooperate!

Have I lost my OS???? And my hard drives?! Don’t tell me it’s true?! :(

;)  After changing the USB port of my keyboard 6 times and tapping F1, I finally got to the BIOS...  What should I do once in the BIOS?

Hello try removing your BIOS battery (after unplugging your computer and touching a metal part) for about thirty seconds, it should reset it kind regards

After removing it for more than 2 minutes... just to be sure ^^  It doesn't change anything!  It just adds "CMOS Date/Time not set" on the American Megatrends page.

It's normal after reinstalling the BIOS. Normally, you just need to press F1, which will allow you to enter the BIOS, you set the options for date, time, language, and then you exit while saving. Normally, your PC should boot without any issues.

If you're unable to access the BIOS, try changing the keyboard to see.

Hello reset the configuration to default and then exit by pressing F10 (I hope you have installed your OS?) it should start normally best regards

Thank you!!! Problem solved ;)  It was ultimately the USB 3.0 ports that weren't working, I don't know why though, as they were working fine before... So the keyboard...
