Hello everyone,

not knowing anything about computers, I would like to know the difference between 500 Go and 320 GB.
Let me explain: I need to change my PC and I found this offer:

DESKTOP PC "E-MACHINES" EL1850
Intel Celeron Duo Core
Memory 3072 MB
Hard drive 320 GB
DVD burner
Intel graphics card
Memory card reader
Windows 7
1-year warranty
Price: 470 CHF (on promotion) about 360€.

Wanting to compare prices in France, I found this:

Acer Emachines EL1850-095
Processor: Intel Celeron E3300
Hard drive: 500 Go SATA II hard drive
RAM: 3072Mo DDR3 1333MHz (1*2048 + 1*1024)
Graphics Card: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500
Card Reader: 9 in 1
Accessories: eMachines keyboard and mouse
Connectivity: 7 USB 2.0, PS2, RJ 45, VGA, Headphone jack (front)
Price: 299€

I’m surprised, usually, PCs are cheaper in Switzerland.

So, my question is: are these 2 PCs equivalent?? (And by the way, what do you think?)

Thank you for your help!

Thank you for the quick response, Kyljulpseud.

This is for office use, internet, a bit of basic video editing but no video games.

To answer your question, I think it's better to go for the second one; indeed, its price is cheaper, the hard drive capacity is larger than the first one, and both are equivalent in terms of the processor...

There you go, I hope I've helped you!
