Unable to install Daemon Tools Lite

Hello,

I am trying to install DAEMON Tools Lite v4.35.6 on my PC.
When the installer starts, everything freezes and the following message appears in a window: "Internal setup error. Error code: 14. Contact support."
I am using Windows XP.

Can someone tell me what the problem is?

    Hello and thank you for the responses.

    I found the following answer on the forum:

    For those who still have this problem:
    - Download SPTD 1.62 (Thanks Tigodi)
    - Run the file and choose "Uninstall"
    - Restart your computer
    - Install the latest version of Daemon Tools Lite 4.35.5

    Normally the error should not appear and SPTD 1.62 being included in the installation of Daemon Tools, you won't have to worry about it.
    It worked for me, I hope it will be the same for you    .

    Now, everything works.
