Newline in C language

Thank you for replying so quickly, I would like it to be that simple, but look:

line1 printf("hello how are you/n")
and when I compile and execute it, it gives me
hello how are you/n
and it doesn't create a new line.

euh \n and it is not /n it differs..

To display a line break with a "high-level" function like printf, you need to use \n. Otherwise, it depends on your OS. On Windows, it will be \r\n.

If you want a line ending after a sentence, you can simply use the puts function. For example: puts("coucou"); will jump to a new line after "coucou".

 ... printf("re"); return 0; } 

Be careful, you need to flush the screen buffer before doing return 0;
Either explicitly with fflush(stdout), or by putting a line break ("\n").
