Hello everyone,

I recently got a bug, or at least what I consider a bug... so when I start my PC, I end up on an ASUS EXPRESS GATE screen that seriously slows down my connection time on Windows 7. Does anyone have a solution to help me avoid going through this screen?
Thanks in advance

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

You just need to disable the option in the BIOS.
If I remember correctly (like a goldfish), I think it's in the "Tools" tab.
You need to set the "ExpressGate" option to "Disabled" instead of "Enabled", which will prevent the express gate from launching at startup.

Hello and thank you for your response. I still have a problem that I can't seem to solve. When I turn on my PC, I now get an Asus motherboard screen that takes a lot of time for me to connect because I have to press tab to access Windows, and the PC is running incomprehensibly slow.
If you have any idea... thank you in advance and have a good day.

Hello,
have you resolved your connection issue? If so, how? I think I have the same problem as you with a laptop I bought 3 days ago, the ASUS N53SV-SZ107V.

Good evening,

The Asus motherboard splash screen does not take time on the PC startup; it only hides the device initialization sequence (which you refer to as "incomprehensible grinding").

To disable it, you need to go back into the BIOS, go to the "Boot" tab, then into "Boot setting configuration" and set the "Full screen logo" option to "Disabled."
The startup will not be faster, just like when pressing Tab.

Make sure to check in the "Boot" tab => "Boot setting configuration" that the "Quick boot" option is set to "Enabled."

There you go! I hope this helps...
