Vertical Bar Key on Keyboard Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, Can someone tell me which key or key combination to use on the keyboard to type the vertical bar in a console command? I've been looking on my keyboard and can't find it. Thank you

Vertical bar on PC: AltGr + 6  Vertical bar on Mac: | | | shift + alt + L :)

You’re talking about this bar: | | |
If you are in AZERY: [AltGr] + [6]
Be careful, it’s the 6 on the main keyboard (above the T and the Y)
tested on Slackware: works in console, Kconsole, xterm, browser...

Yes, be careful not to press alt gr + the key on the keypad!!!
Don't try it, as it turns the screen upside down, so make sure to press alt gr + the one at the top of the keyboard, the key we usually press to do this: -

Well, I know it's been a while, I saw the date of the last message.  But this might interest our Swiss friends, on a QWERTZ keyboard, it's AltGr+1.  :)
