Hello, and thank you for coming to read this and maybe help me with this topic...
Here I have a huge problem, I’ve been working for 3 hours 30 on an image in The Gimp, and Gimp suddenly closed (or crashed) and left no trace of my image... I’m exhausted, I’ve spent so much time! Do you know a way to recover my image? Thanks in advance :'( .

I think that’s impossible, sorry … When you reopened GIMP, no error message appeared?

Same opinion as Fanny. It’s always unwise, with any software, not to make intermediate backups during work. Losing a 3-hour chunk of work all at once is tough, really tough!
With GIMP, the best approach is to save in ".xcf" right from the start, and then periodically save backups. A quick "CTRL + S" doesn't take long...

Sorry but that's impossible in this case...
I advise you to save your work as you go in case of a bug because it happens frequently in software like GIMP and Photoshop when they have decided not to cooperate... ;)
