Hello, I’m here to talk to you about the Mingrui WR30M watch. First, I will explain the functions of the Light, Start, Mode, and Reset buttons. The Light button allows you to see the time in the dark. If you’re in the dark, press the Light button and the following colors will display on your watch: green for the hour, blue for the seconds, and red for the day. The Start button lets you view the date or start the stopwatch. It can also be used to set the alarm. The Mode button is used to switch modes. There are four: time,
stopwatch, alarm, and time setting. The Reset button will let you check when the alarm will go off. It is also used to reset the stopwatch.
For the hourly chime, hold Reset and press Start, then release everything.

4 buttons: LIGHT - MODE - ST/STP - RESET
Try this to turn off or activate the alarm:
1- go to the screen where the time is displayed (use the MODE button);
2- press and hold the RESET button;
3- while holding the RESET button, now press the ST/STP button
The alarm should be turned off/activated.

To make the chime disappear, press simultaneously on s and r. Do the same to bring it back (ESS manual).

Disabling the hourly chime: on the WR100m watch, pressing the 4 buttons mode/set/light/adj at the same time resets all settings. As a result, the watch no longer chimes every hour! After that, you need to reset the time, date, and day.

Having the same problem with my son's watch, I ended up here.

This post is still useful and relevant 15 years later. (WR30 M Mingrui watch)

I would like to thank those who provided all the previous information, especially Pascal59000, as it helped me fix everything

However, I think the following information is missing for the hourly chime:

- To activate/deactivate the alarm, you need to press reset and then press start (while still holding reset), the small alarm icon will appear or disappear.

- To activate/deactivate the hourly chime, you need to press reset and then press mode (while still holding reset): the small bars in the small circle at the bottom will appear (hourly chime activated) or disappear (hourly chime deactivated)

Start: button at the top right

Reset: button at the bottom right

Mode: button at the bottom left
