Here is my problem (or maybe it's not a problem). My computer screen that I've had for only a month and a half (hp2009v) heats up above the screen... I would like to know if this is normal.

Flat desk screens always emit a bit of heat because they have their own power supply, although this is significantly less than the old cathode ray tubes which were real heaters.
Laptop screens, on the other hand, do not heat up at all, as the power supply is provided by the CPU/Keyboard part resting on the desk.
