Recovering the original image after making modifications? Solved

Hello,

I wanted to know if there are any software programs that can help find the original photo after modifications have been made to it.

For example: on a photo, I use the Paint brush to hide the guy's head and I save the file.

Is it possible to recover this image before the modification?

Hi  No, that kind of software doesn't exist. Once saved, your image is permanently modified. The only solution is not to work on the original, but to make a copy first and only modify that one.

To recover it, I don't think it's possible.
But in the future, if the case arises again, there is also the option to save the modified image
under a different name, so you keep both.

It seems to me that there is a thumbnail recorded in the photo. We modify the photo, but the thumbnail remains unchanged. So you just need software to display the thumbnail.
