Adding color to a Word table

Hello,

I'm trying to add color to the cells of a table I created with Word. When I select the cell I want to color and go to the color selection (the little icon with the paint bucket), all the colors are grayed out and I can't select any... How can I color a cell in my table?

    Hello,

    try "right click" in the cell --> border and shading --> background tab --> apply to: table or cell then select your color.
