Hello,
My nephew edited a photo in Paint and saved the photo. How can I revert to the original?
I tried with Windows Live Gallery but it doesn’t work.
Thanks for your responses.

If you saved the file after modifications, and you don’t have a copy of the original made beforehand (which is always recommended), then the answer is no, you can’t go back. It’s not like restoring Windows!
Unless you re-create the image from the base, you can’t go back. It’s as if you had written something (a letter) and added something without being able to erase. So it feels like a save. well, either we leave it as is, or we start over.
Know that any file—whether video, Office (or LibreOffice), photo, music—that we opened with a software to modify (photo retouching, audio/video editing, opened with Office... and that we print or save) then removes the possibility to revert later. Ctrl+Z or the back arrow grey out. It’s like that.
So it’s better to have several copies of everything to avoid any problems and to never work on the original but on copies.
