It's up to you. If you want, you can always change your WEP key if you've forgotten it.
-
-
Yes, it finds it (the livebox) and once I enter the WEP key it says: unable to connect to the access point. So I don't know what to do, especially since it worked very well before!
-
I managed to deactivate it!!!! Yay! But, uh, it's not going to be alright if I remove it and my neighbors use it.....
-
Did you press the Livebox button to put it in association mode?
The Wifi button (new) or REG (old) until the Wifi light flashes on the Livebox.
Then you try to connect to it.

Huh? -
-
If the livebox is not in association mode, it won't work.

Are you in WEP mode in the Livebox? And not WPA?

You will connect to it until the protection is back
but as soon as you reactivate the protection, you will no longer be able to connect to it.
Are you sure you are not making a mistake with the WEP key?
Limit changing it to something easy for you...

Huh?

I'm not mistaken about it and I've changed it already; it needed hexagons...
I'm going to start over! -
-
It needs to be set to WEP.
--
Windows has not detected any keyboard. Press Enter to continue.
Huh?-
Well, yes, but if it doesn't work without WEP, the problem lies elsewhere...
So I will test without WEP until I find the solution, and then when the connection is okay, I will switch back to WEP or even to WPA2 (better).
Just to keep things simple. Right?

Tip: Be PRECISE and COMPLETE in describing the problem to get a response :-)
Read the charter, it can help you understand "how it works".
