VLC to Windows Movie Maker conversion

Hello, I’d like to make a video about Windows Media Player (or another if you have a better one) but when I put my videos into the sequential editing table the image doesn’t appear... Only the sound... So why do I need to convert my videos with VLC in order to read the video correctly... Please help me, it’s for Monday... Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.5.6

    Mindow Movie Maker does not support certain video formats! You need to convert your video to .avi or .wmv using software like Free Video Converter or on >> Www.Media-Convert.Com

      Thank you very much, I succeeded, I downloaded the software and I converted everything to .wmv and it works, thank you!!!

    You need to convert using VLC Player by clicking on File and then Convert.
