Hi everyone
Before, when I opened several photos with Photofiltre, I had them all in front of me to work on them...
Now, after a bad manipulation, I don't know which one, when I open two or three images at once, they come to stack on top of each other :(
Can someone tell me how to get back to my old Photofiltre?

It's not a super heavy software...
Honestly, uninstall and reinstall it if you really have no other solution!
Or check the settings and look for "default"

@M2PG
I reinstalled it but still have the same problem and I can't find the "reset to default"
@Transat
Yes, it allows me to put the two images side by side by resizing their respective windows, but it's still not quite right...
Before, I would open, for example, 3 photos and they would all open one on top of the other at the size of the image, but now they open in full screen, which makes it difficult to align them together, for example!

Re
Do you mean that you are unable to get this when you open 3 photos of different sizes?

Thank you so much Transat because once again you saved my life ;)
It was indeed a matter of unchecking the "MAXIMIZE IMAGES ON OPEN" option
in the VIEW menu
Everything is back to normal, problem solved thanks to you, thanks again^^

Good evening,
I'm sorry to impose, but I'm doing this on the advice of another participant, Luke1.
Here's the story: I tried Photofiltre studio, and I'm experimenting. I've read quite a few tutorials, but I'm struggling.
Luke has gone through the problem, as you can see in the messages (title of my messages: where are my layers) but he doesn't know Photofiltre inside out (he says so himself) and he advised me to reach out to you because you are well-versed in Photofiltre... not me, far from it!
So here it is: I want to insert an animated gif onto an image. I do: click on the image that will serve as the background. OK documents, image: Click on the gif (which is saved as gif) OK
all the layers are on the left, with an eye and a cross on each.
I delete the eye and the cross (click/visible)
I have, on the left, the "layer?" of the background and above the 9 layers of the gif
after that it gets tricky: left click/1st layer of the gif, edit, copy
left click on the background: edit, paste
The layer is well on the background, I can change its size, move it AND THAT'S IT
the other 8 layers that were visible on the left have disappeared .....
I can't continue with each of them what I did (and if it's done correctly?) with the first
What am I doing wrong? In the tutorials, it all seems so obvious that nothing is specified about this.
Thank you very much if you could help me, already, because I would like to know how to do it, and also I only have 24 days left before the end of the trial period for PFS; If I succeed, I will buy PFS, otherwise, I will take a free version (GIMP) but at first glance, I don't think it's going to be a great fit for me! Very complicated!
We'll see.

Good evening La poyaude
Sorry but I only have the free version of PF and this version does not handle layers
Have you tried this tutorial http://magfo.centerblog.net/3633693-inserer-des-gifs-animes-dans-une-image
See you later

Good evening La Poyaude,
but he doesn’t know PhotoFiltre well (that’s what he says)
No, I said I didn’t know PhotoFiltre Studio well enough because I don’t like it, I hate it. But there are two versions of PhotoFiltre: the free version and PhotoFiltre Studio, which is the paid version, not the same.....
Luke.

Well, I just did a try without care just to see if it works properly and actually it does, I had never made a GIF with this software but it works, it's ugly because not polished (didn't even set the magic wand) but it goes without any problem with layers or anything and without trying to tidy up or make it clean, so I don't understand your problem....
http://www.cijoint.fr/cjlink.php?file=cj201001/cijs091y3t.gif, all the layers are there http://ioj.com/v/8zas6 ... :-(((
Luke.
PS: since I put everything in a jumble without reducing it, you have to wait a bit for it to start....

Luke, if you did exactly as I explained to Transat, and it works, I don't see why it wouldn't work with me!
I have the "animated gif import" plugin since when I open the gif, I have all the layers. It's when I do "copy paste" that I only have the background layer left, and the first one that was pasted on that background!
It might be a checkbox that was accidentally checked, causing this issue, but which one, and is that it?
See you later
