Hello everyone.
I am currently using Ubuntu, but I had the same problem on Windows, so I think this post is well placed. When I write any text in Open Office, it happens that when I click between two words or between two letters in order to correct myself, the blinking cursor indicating where I am writing no longer selects the space between two letters but rather the letter itself, which means that when I want to add a word of 4 letters, for example, the 4 letters following that word are deleted to make room for it.
I don't know what this is due to, but it's very annoying.
Can you help me? :)
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
when you place your cursor, press the "insert" or "insérer" key and then you will be able to delete your letters and write again.
Have a nice day

Every problem has a solution... you just have to be persistent.
