How to boot from CD on a Compaq Presario C700

Hello,
I just bought Windows seven on CD
But I spent the whole evening trying to figure out how to make the computer boot from the CD at startup. But after multiple attempts it's not possible. I can't configure the BIOS so that it works.
I have a Portable PC Presario C700 (C783EF)
So if someone could help...
Thanks in advance
Configuration: Windows Vista Safari 532.0

Hi, I’m taking you under my wing for your problem.

When you start your PC, what do you see on the first screen?
COMPAQ in white on black in the middle I suppose, but look in the corners and tell me what there is

Ah thank you for replying so quickly already and looking forward to being under your wing.

So I have quite a few things. Given the time it’s taking to display, I don’t really have time to see everything unless I start 50 times, but I really want to...
    So I have:
    ESC: Not selected
    F1: Same
    F9: I think it’s for booting actually (I tried)
    F10: To enter the BIOS
    F11: For Windows recovery
    And a few other things

I just tried F9 again, which actually lets you choose the boot type. It offers me two options
    - TSST CORP CDDVDW TS L632H ATAPI
    - Hitachi 160.0GB (which I think is the hard drive)
I select the first and after nothing happens. It starts up normally.

    Go F10

What do you have after that?

    Then I enter the BIOS
    I go into system configuration:
    - Native SATA support ( Enabled )
    - Accessibility options ( I enter )
    we have:
    - Boot CD-ROM ( Enabled )
    - "" Floppy ( Disabled )
    - "" PXE ( Disabled )
I tried several combinations without success.

Then disable the Hitachi in the BIOS

I can’t find HITACHI in the BIOS
So I tried disabling “Native SATA Support” But it doesn’t change anything .
The only choices that are offered to me I already put higher up .
Also don’t forget that this is a laptop . It probably doesn’t work the same way as a fix .
Because I’m able to do that on my desktop with Boot “CD” as 1 and “Hard disk” as 2 . But here I don’t have that option ...
I just don’t understand why it’s so difficult to install Windows 7 .
Even I who am not a fake in computers I wonder how some people do it ...

But if you find the solution don't hesitate to let me know
    Good night.

    Esc does nothing at startup?

No, it just takes longer to start. At first we have hope that it will work because the CD reader starts up, but then it starts normally (Huge disappointment).

Yeah but how? I’m going to go look for it there but I don’t think I’ve already found the hard drive in the BIOS.

Theoretically, in the BIOS you should have a BOOT tab and you need to set CD/DVD as the first option.

Or, there is a key that allows you to select a boot priority just for the current startup.

Yet on my laptop, it’s very simple ...

I’m going to bed, I have class tomorrow!
    See you later
