Barrettes mémoire plantent ordi

Bonjour à tous !

Pour paraphraser Lee LOO dans le 5e élément : "please HELP !"

Voilà le probleme.

j'ai un ordi assemblé en janvier 2007 (donc pas encore trop vieux) qui tournait sous XP Pro et 2GO de ram.

Je fais du graphisme, retouche photos avec l'équipe ADOBE donc j'ai besoin d'avoir du kérozene sous les pédales.

Par une idée non subite et tout aussi saugrenue j'ai voulu passer à 4 GO de ram (la carte mere est prévue pour cà à ce qu'il parait) : il y a 4 emplacements côte à côte pour 4 barrettes de 1GO.

J'ai acheté 2 barrettes Kingston de 1 GO chaque chez LDLC (j'avais apporté une barrette native pour que le vendeur puisse trouver le bon modèle).

Quand j'ai tout remonté et relancé le bazar l'ordi a émi des bib stridents au démarage (BiiP - BiiP, etc.) et puis nada ! Pas d'écran !

J'ai appelé la hotline de ldlc et ils m'ont donné des tuyaux. Ils ont vérifié la compatibilité de la carte mêre et des barrettes et tout semble OK ; il n'y a pas de raison pour que ça plante. Et pourtant !

Ils m'ont fait retirer la pile parce que je n'arrivais pas à retirer le cavalier pour réinitialiser, donc le bios est parti en conféti ! Ils m'ont aidé à recobnfiguré parce que je n'y connais rien.

Après ça j'avais 1 barrette d'origine qui tournait (1GO) : l'emplacement étant bon, l'idée des gens de Ldlc a été de tester les barrettes les unes après les autres pour voir qui est KO.

J'avais lâché la hotline (mon forfait portable commençait à cramer).

Là recatastrophe : l'ordi fait l'idiot et rebipe de plus belle.

Donc de moi même j'ai retiré la pile et j'ai remis l'heure dans le bios (le reste non parce que je n'ai pas les compétences pour éviter les grosses bétises).

J'avais un boulot urgent à terminer et j'ai donc bricolé vaille que vaille sur un 1GO de ram : Zénitude où es tu ?

Donc là je me retrouve avec une vielle barrette qui ne veut plus rien savoir et 2 jeunettes qui font pareil.

Y a t'il quelqu'un qui pourrait ma'aider à mater cette mutinerie dans l'oeuf !

J'ai l'air de rigoler mais intérieurment je frôle le désespoir absolu...

Donc, "please HELP !".

Je viens de réaliser que je ne vous ai pas donné les références de la Carte mêre, des barettes, etc.

    J'apprécie et je vous remercie en coeur !!!!!!!

    Pour répondre point par point :

    1°) A Hfd :avec 1 seule barrette, oui ça tourne, mais sur le 1er slot, pas si je mets la barette sur le slot 2, 3 ou 4 : là ça couac ! J'ai essayé dans tous les sens avec 1 temps de pose (15 mn) après avoir retiré la pile avant de la remettre.

    2°) La carte mere est une Gigabyte quelquechose... Je vais prendre toutes les reférences et je reviendrai probablement 2main avec tout ça ; j'espère que tu pourras aussi m'aider Laurent83500 !

    3°) Bis Hfd : si c'est 1 slot qui fait l'andouille qu'est ce que je peux faire à part balancer l'ordi qui m'a co^^uté cher, que j'adore et qui est mon outil de travail ???? J'ai trop peur de la réponse !!!!!!

    Rehello avant de décrocher pour la soirée...

    Je rentre récupérer les infos auprès de mon "Beeper" préféré (mais au bout de 5 mn ça énerve vraiement !)...

    Petite précision pour Hfd :
    L'ordi tourne sur une barrette ANCIENNE de 1Go.
    Les nouvelles ne fonctionnent pas pour l'instant et j'ai l'impression que ce sont elles qui ont mis la zizanie !

    Une idée subite me traverse l'esprit (un peu tard mais quand même) : est-ce qu'il aurait fallu bricoler le bios avant de mettre la charrue avant les boeufs ?

    donc, si ton pc ne tourne pas avec juste une ou l'autre de tes nouvelles barrettes, c'est plutôt bon signe pour ta carte mère. Et le problème viendrait alors de tes nouvelles barrettes. (étrange quand même que les deux barettes soient défectueuses)

    quand au bios, il ne doit pas y avoir de modif à faire pour que tes nouvelle barrettes soient reconnues.

    Si tu as la possibilité de les testés sur une autre machine, cela pourrait confirmer ou non quelles sont défectueuses.

    ben moi là récemment j'ai changer de processeur je suis passé a du AMD Phenom 2 955 ( Amd phenom 9500 mon ancien) et mes 2 rams ont cramer sur les 4.
    pourtant ce sont de très bonne ram Corsair Dominator 1066mhz.

    va savoir pourquoi....

    Je viens de penser à 2 choses...

    1°) Est-ce que je peux essayer de faire tourner l'ordi avec 1 vieille barrette + une nouvelle barrette ? ça ferait 1Go + 1Go pour tourner de façon plus confortable (j'avoue avoir la détestable habitude de travailler avec 40 fenêtres ouvertes... Ouaip, je sais : faut faire des économies d'énergie !!! LOL !!!)
    Ya t'il un risque de tout fusiller ?
    J'ai relu ton post, Laurent83500 et je me demande si l'une des anciennes barrettes n'a pas "lâché la rampe"' ?

    2°) Quand j'ai ouvert la machine, j'ai fait un peu de ménage en douceur (poussière au fond et sur le ventilo processeur)
    Est-ce qu'il se pourrait qu'il y ait de la poussière dans les slots !
    Dans ce cas est-ce que je peu balancer de la bombe à air (matos débranché ... bien sûr !!!)

    Ce que dit le manuel.Installes 2 barettes sur des slots de la meme couleur pour tester.

    Due to CPU limitation, if you wish to operate the Dual Channel Technology, follow the guidelines below:
    1. Dual Channel mode will not be enabled if only one memory module is installed.
    2. To enable Dual Channel mode with two memory modules (it is recommended to use memory
    modules of identical brand, size, chips, and speed), you must install them into DIMM sockets
    of the same color.

    3. To enable Dual Channel mode with four memory modules, it is recommended to use memory
    modules of identical brand, size, chips, and speed.

    If two memory modules are to be used to achieve Dual Channel mode, we recommend
    installing them in DDRII_1 and DDRII_2 DIMM sockets.

    Si je te comprends bien je dois travailler en priorité sur des slots de même couleur (c'est l'idée de mon dernier post...)

    Les 4 slots sont au dessus les 1 des autres.
    En fait j'ai 2 slotsjaunes (ou étaient les barrettes natives) et 2 slots rouges en dessous pour les nouvelles...

    Le problème c'est qu'il faut que je teste les mémoires les 1 après les autres... Et tes indications précisent qu'il faut qu'elles soient par paire, de même nature, sur des slots identiques..

    En fait, j'en avais un peu peur, mais est-ce qu'on ne peut pas contourner la procédure ?

    Alors, comment je peux faire ?

    Il faut aller dans le bios et mettre dual chanel sur "disable" pour tester les barettes une après l'autre.

    Comme le bios est parti en compote (voir plus haut !!!) peux-tu me dire si je dois aller rectifier d'autres choses importantes avant de me lancer ???

    Par ailleurs, j'ai une image iso de mon DD de démarage, penses-tu que si je la réinstalle (avant de tester les barrettes par exemple) le bios reviendra de lui-meme en l'état ????

    Tout ça pour eviter les grosses bétises avec mes mains pleines de doigts !!! ;-)

    Bon là faut vaiment que j'y aille : désolé et emrci encore !!!

    Non , le bios c'est "à la main " ou mise à jour ou "defaut setup" une option dans le bios qui remet les parametres par defaut.
    Perso avant de faire ça je note sur papier les valeurs actuelles puis tu mets "default setting "

    Le bios est le petit logiciel qui gere ton materiel au plus près des composants.

    Windows est plutôt au niveau utilisateur.
