Hello,
I have wasted 2 hours trying to make my PC recognize my iPhone.
It used to work perfectly until I installed usbdrive, that crappy app that forces you to change the settings in device management to use some of your iPhone's storage space as a "USB key"...
After trying different solutions like uninstalling iTunes and all its components, restarting, and reinstalling correctly, I'm still stuck... or trying to install mobile device support (apart from iTunes) but nothing works either.
- The iPhone is undetectable via USB when connected to the PC...
- The famous "apple mobile device USB driver" is not visible in device management
- However, it is visible and well activated in Windows services (Windows 7 for your information)
Apart from reformatting Windows because I think it comes from there, what can I do?
Thanks for your constructive responses.

I've lost 2 real hours trying to figure out how to get my PC to recognize my iPhone.
It used to work perfectly before I installed usbdrive, that crappy app that forces you to change the config in device management to use a disk space on your iPhone as a "USB key"...
After trying different solutions like uninstalling iTunes and all its components, rebooting, and reinstalling correctly, I'm still stuck... or even trying to install the mobile device support separately (from iTunes), but nothing works either.

Aside from reformatting Windows because I think that's where the issue is coming from, what can I do?
