Freely move icons within a folder

Hello,

I have been using Windows 7 for a few days now, but I haven't found how to disable the "automatic rearrangement" in Windows 7, so I can move and arrange my icons freely.

You can do it on the desktop by right-clicking on display, but I haven't found the trick in folders!

Thank you for your help
Configuration: Windows 7 Internet Explorer 8.0

What is also easy is to say useless things! We are talking in Windows Explorer, not on the Desktop. And there is no automatic rearrangement in Explorer, if it were just that...

pfff it's easy you need to have the icons big (so not in a list then right click, display and at the bottom there's the auto arrange ...... )
