Hello friends,I can't adjust the sound of my speakers and especially remove a persistent echo. I went to the volume control, I checked that there was no problem with the sound card (well, I think)... Anyway, I don't know what to do anymore. Plus, I can't find out the name of my sound card. I'm on XP Home Edition.Can someone help me?It's really very unpleasant in the end!ThanksNelly

Search the taskbar for an icon that corresponds to your audio hardware (not the speaker). There you should find a tab labeled effects: you need to set it to general, default settings (the names may vary from one card to another) to remove the echo.
