Good evening,
I was looking for blank CD-Rs on the internet (for purchase) and I noticed that only CD-R 700 MO are offered
whereas all the CD-Rs I have at home are CD-R 700 MB
for your information: brand MEMOREX (but it's the same with other brands)

I had never paid attention to this before!!!!!!!!!!!
but since I want to buy the CDs in packs of 100... I don't want to make a mistake..

could someone tell me if there is an important difference between the two??? (between MO and MB)

thank you in advance...

good evening.

Hi,

It's the same: 700 Mo = 700 MB (700 Mega Bytes = 700 Mega Bytes)
in English, Octet = Byte

See you later, Didmed

Good evening,
the smallest unit of measurement is the bit: 0 or 1
in other words: the current flows or does not flow.
1 byte is 8 bits...
good night, tutu

700 Mb = 0.7 Gb quite simply, you just have to pay attention in school.. ;-)

transform the bit into byte since byte equals octet then apply the cross rule

1MB = 1024 bytes
and 1GB = 1024 MB = 1024*1024 bytes or 2^20 = 1048576 bytes!

and for your question: 700 / (1024) = 0.686 GB
