blue light new box Closed

Question

Hello, my boyfriend says he can't connect his Neuf Box anymore and there is a fixed blue light! (knowing there is a storm). I would like to know if his Neuf Box is still working? And what does this light mean? Please help me! Thanks in advance!!!!

Good evening..
If this is the NB4, there are 4 blue lights: 1 for ADSL ( @ ), one for traffic ( "traffic" ), one for the phone ( phone ), and one for Wi-Fi...
The ADSL should be steady, the Wi-Fi as well, however, the traffic flashes continuously or almost always, and the phone changes from solid on to flashing when there’s a call...

Well, which one, the blue light???
He should unplug it from the power source AND from the telephone socket, wait 5 minutes, and then plug it back in; it should start working again... otherwise, it’s also possible that the box has been damaged...

Same issue at my parents'.
After a call to customer service, the power supply is defective (reference on the power supply 2707... meaning manufactured in the 27th week of July 2007).

The power supply is over 2 years old. Apparently, that's the limit for these little things.
So they're sending another one in exchange... 5 days of waiting to receive it...

Hoping the box hasn't burned out in the process...
The blue light appeared after there was a power outage with the circuit breaker in the house.

On the left side of the box, there is a reset button. Press this button with the tip of a pen for 5 seconds.

I think I have the same problem...
I went on vacation, and I unplugged several outlets, including the power strip where the NeufBox is connected. I just got back, and I can't get it to emit a signal:
- The big light (usually red, green, or yellow) is blue (I've never seen that before)
- At the bottom, only the "traffic" light is on.

I tried all your tips, but nothing worked...

The big light is usually green!
If you don't have the ADSL light, you won't have anything else!
Your telephone line might be poorly connected, or without a filter... disconnect both cables and reconnect them after 2 or 3 minutes... fiddle with the wires, just in case a plug is not well seated... otherwise, you might have to admit that the box is faulty?!

It's indeed due to the crappy power supply and also to the "jack" plug that can make poor contact.

The voltage of the 12V power supply drops to less than 9V once plugged in; the best thing is to find a good power supply in 12 volts and at least 2 A with a set of different plugs because the "jack" plug of the box is not standard.

Freeboxes have the same problem.

They provide us with cheap crap equipment from the "Yellows," making us lose a fortune on the hotline by making us wait for 6 months while they know very well where the fault is, and in the end, they run out of stock for the power supplies.

Recently, in 2 calls to SFR, I spoke to at least 10 different people who all wanted me to redo all possible tests for a blue light, only to end up telling me that they were sending me a new block.
I insisted and threw a big fit to get a complete neufbox that I'm currently waiting for.
