Hello Kurisu!
For 500 euros, you can get this PC http://www.darty.com/nav/achat/informatique/bureau-bureau/unite_centrale_avec_ecran/acer_x3812-uf7y_ob_21_5_x.html it's not necessarily great but you'll be able to run quite a few games on medium quality!

RE hi, for gaafour63, I have this card and I tried it with PES 2009 and PES 2010 and FIFA 2009 at full, and it works really well, at least for me.
As for Assassin's Creed 2, I don't know, but I tried Splinter Cell 3 and 4 from Ubisoft and they work perfectly, Splinter Cell 5 should work too. I also tried Need for Speed Undercover at full and GTA 4 and Need for Speed Shift on medium.
There you go, I hope it helps you.
See you!
PS: My card is not overclocked, so with overclocking you could play even better.

Oulalalala shit, but what do you have in your head? Forget Vista please, with 2.00hz
and 512mb in the graphics card and finally 3.00go of memory, it's cooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllll for games, but don't forget XP, it's better for games
I don't play a game that requires a lot, but I'm on a laptop with 2.00hz
256mb for the graphics card and 3.00go of memory, it's cool for Counter Call of ...

Hello everyone

I have a question about this card which has an HDMI output.

I would like to use it as a second video card to output HD via this port to my screen.

But my second PCI-Express slot only runs at 4x...

Will that be sufficient?

Hi, to go back to the HP you saw in the store, I work in retail and particularly in everything related to computers.

The PC you saw, the HP Pavilion p6145, is far from being a bad machine; I agree that there are better options, but for the price, it's worth it. The graphics card isn't great, but it can be changed and it doesn't cost that much.

That's my opinion; I think for our dear friend, it's a good little setup that is very suitable for starting to play more demanding games.

I build my own PCs and I order from Grobill. It's not the cheapest, but the service is good and they have a good selection.

That's it.

Hello everyone, I am looking for a PC to run my games that will be placed in a somewhat warm location. I have found a configuration and I would like to know if it's good or not: Compaq 500B Intel Core Duo E5300, 3GB of RAM, 320GB Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce G210 with 512MB dedicated, DVD/DVD burner. I hope to get a response as soon as possible, and thank you :D

http://www.topachat.com/pages/pc-complet.php?cat=ordinateurs&ref_base=in10037522

this PC would make a good base
or this one:

http://www.topachat.com/pages/pc-complet.php?cat=ordinateurs&ref_base=in10037518

because only the processor changes...

And with that, you get more than decent performance (to give you an idea, the HD4850 is over 4X as powerful as a G210)
The thing is, it will be delivered in parts (either you do it yourself, or you have someone you know do it, or you have it done by a shop (count around €40 on average)
The second thing is that the computer does not come with Windows, so you will need to use the one you currently have.

Here, I have a maximum of 50 euros to spend on a graphics card (haha), so I’ve tried to read everywhere about the G210.

I also noticed that depending on the brands, the frequencies and memory varied.
In this case, would a G210 1GB be sufficient for an occasional player who wants to play the campaign modes of the new Call of Duty games?
And is it better to get a G210 at 569MHz or a G210 at 475MHz with a bigger cooler (both are 1GB DDR2)?

Otherwise, I would like to know if an ATI HD (in the same price range) could be more powerful...

Hoping for a quick response since I can’t take my Geforce FX 5100 with 64MB anymore =D (in temporary use because of a defective HD 4670 512DDR3).

P.S.: please do not suggest a graphics card over 50 euros ^^

I have a G210 and a decent setup that goes with it...

How to put it...

The Gforce G210 is primarily intended for multimedia use and not really for gaming.

For older games or less demanding ones, it's fine...

For everything else (Cod, Medal of Honor, and other more recent 3D games, above
1024 with options and filters pushed a bit, you have to completely forget about it.

The foundation for gaming is the graphics card.

If you're really limited, do as others say. Get a card that's a step up in power...

Etranor, I’d love to see you run Crysis at high resolution with a G210...

If it's for gaming, keep moving, and its slim case will prevent you from installing a decent graphics card.

I read earlier that a graphics card does not transform a PC equipped with a poor quality quad-core into a powerhouse. I would go even further: no matter what hardware you have in your machine, if the compatibilities are not respected, it won’t yield anything good, even with the best components.
I have a G210, a quad-core at 2.33 GHz, Vista 64, 6GB of RAM + 18GB virtual memory, and a 1TB SATA drive shared in two, and I can run any recent game in HiRes without the slightest lag.

As for Crysis, which everyone seems to take as a reference, it runs in HiRes at an average of 35fps. By the way, this "reference" is not at all viable without mods, and I challenge anyone to play in Full HiRes on Crysis with the base version of the game, since the Crytek engine is anything but stable and resource-efficient.

So the G210 is, in my opinion, a very good card as long as the rest of the configuration follows suit.

Any graphics card around €90 (more expensive than the 210, I admit) is still easily 4 or 5 times more powerful.

I'm not particularly demanding in terms of fluidity, but my setup (HD 4870 about 6 times more powerful than a 210, a quad 9550 at 2.83 GHz, overclocked, 2 500 GB HDDs in RAID 0, and 4 GB of RAM) can run games at max settings, but not all, and some at the limit.

It is simply impossible that with a graphics card 6 times less powerful (and a less powerful processor) you could run games adequately.

When you set the details to high, and the resolution to the maximum of your screen (with filters), it uses a lot of RAM, that’s all (and given the power of the card, reducing 2-3 options won’t change that).

In a game, the GPU is the foundation of the power...
If you have a 2 hp engine, don't think you can compete with the 24 Hours of Le Mans...

Well, I have a Zotac 210 and it's really performing well for games (COD6, Bad Company 2) works like a charm.

I have a Pentium 4 3.00 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, and a Zotac 210, and my games run without any problem on high.

I have a G210 and I run WoW at 30 FPS with the settings maxed out and a resolution of 1920x1080, as well as Mafia II and other Assassin's Creed without any problems.
So it's not a gaming card; this remains to be proven.
