Hello,
I have two monitors connected to my graphics card: my problem is that my two monitors are different, and my graphics card has mistakenly identified my external monitor as number 1 and my LCD as number 2. However, I would like the opposite; what can I do?

- Press Windows + R then
Desk.cpl
or right-click on the desktop ... (personalize) / display / change display settings. - When you set multiple displays to Extend these displays to have your screens 1 and 2, click on the screen you want to make your main display and check Make this display your main display. (This option appears just below multiple displays).
Of course, your screen will still be your screen 1, but I believe your issue was that you didn't have your start menu and main icons on your new screen...

After trying all the proposed solutions to change the identification order of the monitors, I concluded that each serial port to which each monitor is connected on the graphics card has a default priority order: DVI, HDMI, VGA. And if there are multiple ports of the same type, the manufacturer has also assigned a specific order to each of these ports. The solution is therefore quite simple... just unplug all the monitors and reconnect them according to the order that the manufacturer has assigned to each serial port of its graphics card, even if it means getting an adapter to connect, for example, a VGA cable to a DVI port.
