Backup issue in Word review mode

Hello,

I am working in review mode on a Word 2007 document and every time I want to save (Ctrl-S) I get the following message: “The document currently being saved contains comments and tracked changes. Continue saving?”

It's very annoying. And it slows things down a lot because we have to click OK each time ;-(

Does anyone have a solution?

    Hello,

    Office Button, Word Options, Trust Center
    Uncheck the option "Warn before printing, saving or sending a file containing tracked changes or comments".

    This option is not checked by default but is highly recommended if the 3rd option in the same section is unchecked.

    Indeed - but you reassure me - No matter how hard I look, I can't see anything better.

    I'm still struggling with Word - It doesn't save my preferences - I have to redo them every time (including the deactivation we discussed earlier) -
    I'm going to check the link you referred me to right away ;-)

    Good evening,

    Do you happen to have Acrobat 7 (full version) on your PC? If so, please check for updates.
    This software was known to prevent saving changes to the normal.dot(m). An update fixes this issue.

      Thank you! Indeed, I have Acrobat 7 and that's exactly what we thought.
