Hello everyone
I've been searching for a long time for the theme song of a French series that aired early in the morning on TF1 in the 90s, before the cartoons, called "Mésaventures." I really like the music, but I would also love to find the visuals! I vaguely remember black and white images with a lot of noise (in the image ^^), a phone receiver dangling in a phone booth, and a cat!
This series is no longer on TV, and I can't find anything on YouTube or Dailymotion!
Does anyone remember this series and its theme song??
Thank you in advance!!!

Hello,
And especially thank you atomicsmile! I signed up just to thank you for uploading these episodes :)
I had dozens of episodes of Intrigues and Mishaps on VHS, and unfortunately, I threw them all away a long time ago. I was hoping to find them again one day.
I don't know if you still come here, but thank you again for taking the time to do this for us.
:)

Yes, yes... it's still me... also passionate about this series of series in which excellent actors and actresses frequently participated, many of whom worked a lot in the dubbing field, like Brigitte Cordier of course (thank you for the link) but also Bernard Lanneau, Eric Legrand, Dominique MacAvoy, the late Yves Marie Maurin and Marc François, and many others... In the meantime, hoping for a complete DVD release... Thanks again for this link. Have a good evening.

I pass by and I see a recent comic... Great! To see this come out on DVD, I think we can kiss that goodbye! I still have a story with Véronique Toussaint that I would have liked to post, but unfortunately, my VCR has kicked the bucket. Sniff.
- I have what it takes to digitize :) I had loads of mini VHS to do. I invested in a cheap little software for about 35 euros, and I have to admit it's pretty good, except for the tapes that have suffered.
I took the opportunity to watch my old VHS tapes just in case I found an episode, but alas, no... Did you see the one at the end of the post that I found by chance on YouTube?

Darn, when I typed "mesaventures" on Google, I expected to find something resolved... Grrr! lol
I was still in school and I watched it back in 1996, 1997, on TF1, it aired super early...
In my mind, I thought there were several "themes," right? Maybe referred to as "mesaventures," but it seemed to me like there were "crime," "romantic," and "suspense," right?
It was already kitsch back then! How I would love to see a clip, or at least the opening credits...
In any case, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who remembers it, I thought I was crazy! lol
Kisses kisses -
Hello everyone,
Awesome!
You know what, the opening theme I was looking for was actually the one from Intrigues, not Misadventures!
A big thank you to Alex for his link on YouTube!
So, after a year and almost a month to the day, my question is resolved!
Well, in my memory the music was better lol, but it's okay :P
Hi everyone! -
Thank you very much to atomicsmile for these videos! Like Naaoomii, I signed up just to post. These series are extremely rare and yet of high quality.
I would like to take this opportunity to post a bit more information, as I have done quite a bit of research on these series and am preparing a file that includes an interview with one of the producers.
So to clarify, there were four series in total, all produced by Abder Isker:
- Mésaventures
- Intrigues
- Passion
- Côté coeur
The first two featured police intrigue and shared the common title of "Drôles d'histoires".
The other two were more focused on romantic relationships, under the common title of "Histoires d'amour".
The common point among the four, aside from the screenwriters and technicians, was the unity of place (one single set, with a few rare exceptions) and a limit of 2-3 characters (sometimes 4, but that was also very rare).
It should also be noted that all four were aired roughly at the same time, over a period of ten years, from 1988 to 1998.
I preferred the "Drôles d'histoires". The plots were often twisted, with unexpected, even amusing endings. Black humor was frequent. A recurring theme was "crime pays", which made it a unique series that went against the grain.
In response to Beuky: there indeed were actors now known who appeared in these series. The one that struck me the most (during reruns on NT1 a few years ago) was José Garcia, who appears in at least two episodes of "Mésaventures": "Rideau rouge et idées noires" (the story of an actor who attempts to commit suicide but is constantly interrupted) and "Le démon dans la boîte" (a story of voodoo and black magic). Note that we only hear his voice in the second one.
In response to sgvedette: I remember very well the episode in question. I rewatched it (with great pleasure) during the reruns on NT1, and I already remembered it back then; it’s one of the most memorable. Its title is "Omnibus Paris" based on a script by Bernard Granger. With Françoise Bertin playing the old lady and Emmanuel Karsen as the thug. Its first broadcast was on January 13, 1992.
I will post a link here to my file when it is online.
I'm super happy to see that I'm not the only one who appreciated this series... or even remembers it, ha ha.
And by the way, if anyone has other episodes, I am VERY interested! -
Good evening everyone, I found this :)
I think you'll recognize the actor, right?

Good evening,
Yes, I remember that series "Mésaventure" which aired early in the morning on TF1. I’m also looking for information about this series, but as you said, it’s impossible to find any information! Sniff
I loved the plots with all those twists!
This series was in a 30-minute format, if I’m not mistaken?
See you soon to share any information we can find online!

Oh yes!!! I vaguely remember that series too since I was young... In fact, I remember a little bit of the music that played during the opening sequence, it was like jazz with an accordion, and we could see the stairs of the building, the railing, etc..... Anyway, as soon as I find something, I'll let you know. Bye!!!
-
I also add if I remember correctly that there were several like this one, such as "Passions," etc... Right?

In your research, specify that you are looking for the series created or produced by Abder Isker (he was the provider of these "innovative" programs, short format for the time, shot on video, etc.). Here is a link to one of the screenwriters...https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thierry_Crifo
Maybe this will help you in your investigation?! -

Hey, thanks, that's nice.

Hello,
I'm also looking for videos of the series "Mésaventures," it reminds me of my childhood! Even though the actors were bad, there was a particular atmosphere.
I found an episode of the series "Intrigue" on YouTube that aired around the same time (early 1990s) at around 6 AM, the exact copy of the series "Mésaventures"!
Here’s the link

See you! -
No problem!
I'm looking for other episodes online but I can't find anything at all!! If there's any news, I'll post the link here
See you! -
On Dailymotion, there's the opening theme of this series, but personally, I've never watched it.
-
What would be funny is to know today if there are any well-known actors who started in this kind of series. (I'm talking about those who are 40-45 years old today)
-
There is notably Marie Réache, who became famous with 'Plus belle la vie'. She had filmed two stories, including 'Robin des toits' and another one. In the first, she had two scenes with nudity, and one scene in the second. She also filmed nude in an episode of the 'Série rose', 'Le style Pompadour'. It was very beautiful in all three cases... :-)

Yes, it’s clear that there are probably some well-known actors today (but in my opinion, they have always remained on TV, right? Like Bruno Madinier, etc...)
It worked well (see in "Les Enfants de la TV," this kind of show), for those who played in "Cas de Divorce," "Tribunal," etc...)
Thanks for the idea, beurky. -
Does anyone have any news? Does anyone have episodes? I'm ready to pay the price ;) Do you know if it's coming back on TV???

Hello,
I'm so pleased! After many years spent trying to figure out the names of those various morning dramas, I finally found it. I remembered an episode of "Intrigues" or "Mésaventures" with Cyril Aubin (the one who played the rocker in "Miel et les abeilles") where it was about kinds of limbo, a person between life and death. So I started my research with him, but it seems he has removed that info from his CV!
In any case, you really made my day! Thank you!
