Hello,
I think I have been scammed by an eBay seller regarding the purchase of a Sonia Rykiel bag. Indeed, when I received it, the inside of the bag was pierced with the outside leather of the bag. As a result, it was impossible to put anything in the pocket. When I reported it to the seller, he said he had never noticed and that I was acting in bad faith. Moreover, this bag smelled and still smells like tobacco. Supposedly, this bag was bought during a private sale a short time ago (6 months), and it was not provided with the original dust bag. I always keep mine!!! No proof of purchase available!!! After a few exchanges with this person, there has been no further communication. I don’t know where to go for possible claims. Furthermore, this person always communicated by phone; he never had access to his computer. What do you think? For a Rykiel, having such a defect is concerning. I await your advice.

Hello,
E bay has closed this case.
The sale was perfectly honest, the product perfectly authentic (I am actually waiting for news from your brother-in-law working at customs) due to its serial number located inside the bag. Also, a simple visit to a Sonia Rykiel store or a phone call with their company would have confirmed this for you.
But simplicity does not seem to be one of your great qualities, just like honesty.
Despite my assertions and my proposals regarding the authentication of the bag (which would have proven that it was not a counterfeit), you were unwilling to listen, sticking to your original idea of having been scammed.
As for the check, I kindly waited a long time for another check to be sent following the loss of the first one, even though I initially only accepted payments via PayPal. Accusing me of bad faith is quite ironic.
I responded to all your messages (both verbally and by email) and I was even more inclined to discuss with you over the phone to avoid any confusion. Instead, the only thing you were able to accomplish was to file a complaint via e bay.
Check my ratings on e bay and think twice before defaming me in light of yours.
I find the complaint/forum process totally inappropriate and it amounts to defamation.-
HELLO
I read these exchanges with interest and, as a first comment, I want to say that if eBay classified it as resolved, it may be that the bag was indeed authentic! Sold in private sales, possibly with this defect;
of course, it would have been preferable to point it out, but you may not have been aware of it if you hadn't used the bag, and on the other hand, the reported defect is still minor!
What was the sale price of the bag compared to its market value?
Sometimes buyers tend to want perfection at second-hand prices or from small brands: the P, Z, H and so on...
I've seen on eBay negative feedback for items won at 7 euros! For color nuance issues compared to the photo...
I have over 8000 sales to my credit on eBay, among other more luxurious sites, let's say
well, the only time I was accused of selling a fake Longchamp was on the good.. K.. (sold for 160 euros, market value 450)
handing over a splendid and new bag bought 5 years ago AT Longchamp.
A week later, the customer, a kind of old paranoid, accused me of selling her a FAKE! Aside from all my photos from every angle, I had no proof, no receipt, of course, because that store has since closed.
But she got tired after bombarding me with emails and calls after a month!
The bag was the real deal, but she could have slandered me on this site
I think in such a case you need to file a defamation complaint! Because French law presumes the accused innocent until proven otherwise. However, names are sometimes given online, addresses too, and that is perfectly illegal and vile!

The simplest thing in such cases is to take an independent "referee"! A website offers expertise on our online purchases by specialized experts. You provide them with all the data regarding the item to authenticate, and a few days later, the verdict comes along with the certificate of conformity or non-conformity. I think it's the best way to prove it in good faith. The site I recommend is www.authentifier.com.

Hello
If he never had access to his computer, how did he manage the sale on eBay?
If I remember correctly, you can file a claim with eBay for an item not as described, but it depends on several things (listing, closing date, etc.).

The name is SISTERIEN. Plus, he had the nerve to say that the payment was delayed! I had to cancel the first check, supposedly because he hadn't received it. Just troubles with this person, who is obviously bad faith.
