Hello,

I have a problem launching Call of Duty World at War. When I try to launch it, I get this error message:

"Please insert the appropriate DVD-ROM, then click OK and restart the application"

Even though the DVD is in the drive and I just installed the game!

Where could this error be coming from? Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows Vista

Under Vista, you need to disable Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode by right-clicking on the properties of the file C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3sp.exe

Yes, but it doesn't change anything. However, my DVD player does detect the DVD when I insert it, so I really don't see where the problem could be.
