Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to play CD-ROM games intended to be read by a PC on a PlayStation 2 (Slim)? :) (I know it's often the other way around and people want to play their PS2 games on their PC, but I'm not like everyone else ^^') I'm mainly interested in playing visual novels, so they're not very demanding to run. I'd prefer to ask this question before testing it myself and risking my console dying in terrible agony, with a cloud of black smoke coming out of the side, if you know what I mean ^^'

Thank you in advance for your responses :)

    Good evening,

Normally no, on the back of your game box, you have the compatibility information; it specifies if it is compatible.

    Have a good evening.

    Hi,

No, it's impossible to play PC games on PS2

The opposite can be done, it's an emulator that installs on PC to play console games (not all of them).

    Good evening.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to do that (don't try)
Most CD-ROM games require an installation (so that's already out of the question) and are written in a language that the PS2 doesn't recognize.

    Have a good evening.
