Create a hotmail.fr or .com address. Solved/Closed

Hi everyone,

So, I created my Hotmail account some time ago and it's a hotmail.com account.
Now I want to create a Hotmail account for my brother and I can't find how I did it to get the .com.
The only option is hotmail.fr

Could someone please tell me how to create a hotmail.com account? Thank you for your responses.

fr = France
com = Commercial

It's like org = Organization

Hello, recently Hotmail addresses have switched to .fr as planned because the .com are for community use, and Hotmail has taken independence from the .fr to clearly differentiate the countries. This has been effective since March 1st, I believe, the .fr addresses are coming soon.

It really doesn't change anything, but if you want to get .com, you have to go to msn.com and not Msn.fr!

All the answers have been given ;) to get a .com you just need to have the postal code of the state, for example, Beverly Hills 90210 for Atlanta 30342, etc... these postal codes can easily be found on MSN, and then to get a .com when you arrive on the login page you need to click on Windows Live ID and not create an account. After, choose your address ;)
