THUNDERBIRD - Rearrange Accounts Solved

Question

Hello everyone. I use Thunderbird to manage my 15 personal and professional email accounts.  Today, the accounts appear in chronological order of their creation in Thunderbird. I would like to change the order in which they appear: Put all the Prod accounts first, then the 2 Yahoo accounts, and finally the personal Gmail account.  It is possible to do this by deleting all the accounts and recreating them in the desired order. But isn't there a simpler method to organize these accounts?  Thanks to the clever one who has the solution. :)

It's an extension for Thunderbird, not for Firefox. You need to download it and then install it in TB.

Hello everyone,  I have the same issue except I’m on Mac OSX with the latest version of Thunderbird.  I don't have access to the perf.js files (or if so, please let me know how ^^).  Furthermore, in my case, the Tools->Options->Advanced method doesn't work either since when I click on "Tools," there is no "Options" and therefore no further steps... Hello everyone. The operation in the Thunderbird editor through: Tools> Options> tab: Advanced> Tab: General> Config Editor: "I will pay attention, I promise!" - search for "mail.accountmanager.accounts" in the list - modify the order of the variables as you wish in the line "mail.accountmanager.accounts". Be careful not to make a mistake. - exit the editor - close Thunderbird - restart Thunderbird, the account rank modification is done.  Thank you for this brilliant solution.
