I have lost the PIN code for my Philips CD 445 landline phone, what should I do?

      This is about a landline telephone connected to a home phone line and not a mobile phone...

      Here is the procedure:
      - the phone must be connected to the base
      - from standby mode, press the "menu" key
      - enter the code ##**793
      - "waiting" will be displayed
      - "backup" will be displayed
      - wait a little longer (several beeps from the handset and base)
      - when "welcome" appears in several languages, everything is back to factory settings

      this is the detail of what is briefly explained in the manufacturer's manual
