IEEE 1394 OHCI-Compatible Host Controller Problem

Hello,
I have what you might call a problem with my
IEEE 1394 OHCI compliant host controller: This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.10

    In the Device Manager, right-click on: "OHCI-compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" (where you have the yellow dot) properties => details.
    In the drop-down menu select: "Hardware Ids".
    Post the information. (sequence of numbers and letters)

        You should have checked with the manufacturer before installing Windows XP to see if they offer drivers for Windows XP ;)

      yes, I had already seen it, it helped me a lot because before I didn't even have wired internet, but the thing they provide for wifi doesn’t work... :/

    Yes, you must first install the "chipset" driver before installing other drivers. Try the driver from pepito10 in post 12.

    Go to a friend's or neighbor's house ...., download the driver >>> save it to a USB flash drive >>> install it on your PC.
