LAME for Audacity 1.3 (BETA)

Hello,
I am looking for the LAME software to convert files recorded via Audacity ( .aup format ) to MP3 format. I have searched in vain; I find dead links or ZIP/RAR files that, once decompressed, open a MS-DOS window that closes right after without giving me time to understand. Does anyone have a working link for this software or answers if anyone has encountered this problem before?

    If you're using Mozilla or IE7 it won't work, you need to have Google Chrome or Opera... (they say on the site http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/ that Mozilla 3.0 works but I don't know)

    I also have Audacity 1.3 and I had the same issue.
    I found this: https://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/?s=install&item=lame-mp3&lang=fr
    You follow the instructions.
    It worked for me.

      I followed the installation procedure to the letter and I still get the message "unable to open the MP3 encoding library"
      with version 1.2.6 I have no problem exporting to MP3.

      Then I clicked on this: Go to the LAME download page.

      Download and installation were super quick and easy, really in 2 seconds.. and just like that, it works again!! Thanks to you.

    The link no longer works: "403 - Forbidden".
    Would anyone have a link to find the correct version of "lame_enc.dll" for "Audacity 1.3 (BETA)" ... I'm pulling my hair out!!! Thanks to you!
