crossfade on VLC? Solved

Hello, My question is simple: is there a crossfading or crossfade function in VLC? If so, where is it or what addon do I need? Thank you :)

Hello.
Well no, there is no crossfading on VLC. This software contains a playlist but no function for automatic chaining. If you want to be able to queue tracks without doing anything, use Deejaysystem audio MK I or MKII instead. Note that MKI is freeware and therefore free.

There is only one player, but you can open as many players as you want by double-clicking on the desired icon. Or the MKII version with a paid license.

THE MKII offers more options than the 1 and can be used for a beginner or intermediate DJ.

Thank you for your response! I'm going to check out Deejaysystem audio MK I, I didn't know about it.
I use crossfading on WMP but it's a bit limited, that's why I'm looking for this feature on another software, preferably something simple.
My problem is with tracks where the fade-out (the part where the volume gradually decreases at the end) starts 15 or even 20 seconds or more before the end of the song. With WMP's crossfading, for example, we're limited to the last 10 seconds, which is not enough. As for Winamp, it didn't convince me either.

THERE IS A SOLUTION:  open VLC; click on media and open a file; select your tracks :=)

top left: VLC menu --> open media
in the window that opens: click on the ''Add'' tab
select the videos you want to play, in sequence; they will be played in alphabetical or numerical order depending on the case
click on ''Open''
a new window appears: click on ''Play''
