Change my WINDOWS activation key

Hello,

I benefited from my XP thanks to my student MSDN account. My problem is that when I installed it, I didn’t see that it provided the license to activate it. So my XP is judged as illegal although I haven't pirated anything, but simply because I didn't use the correct key in time.
I tried to disable my key from the registry by going through "regedit" then HLM\software\microsoft\windowsNT\Currentversion\WPAEvents and modifying the binary data, then using the command %systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a but unfortunately for me, Windows returns the message:
WINDOWS is already activated. Even with this manipulation, I should have accessed the old activation screen.

I would like to know how to change my key; I have tested everything I have read on the forums, that is to say:
_ this manipulation and software to try to change the key

But nothing works. I hope you can help me.

Thank you in advance
Configuration: Windows XP SP3 Firefox 3.0.8

If you have the key, click on start, run and type: "%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a" (without the quotes), and follow the instructions :)
