It's just a routing and remote access issue. You just need to remove the incoming connection in the network connections or turn off the "Routing and Remote Access" service in the service list.
And there you go! Roro pong!

Really, thank you! I thought it was because my version of Windows XP wasn't original. And yes, it can happen to get scammed!
I often have this problem with the internet. I have the desktop computer downstairs and my laptop in my room upstairs, so we unplug and plug the cable several times a day, and each time we have to re-enter the IP address, the default gateway number... We bought a router last week, but we can't manage to install it.
Thank you very much for the solution!

You buy a small router, 4 ports should be enough for you. 20-30 euros

I recently bought a wifi router for about 40 euros, you can connect 4 PCs via ethernet and whatever you want via wifi, perfect

there you connect everything with straight cables

and you use DHCP, on the modem or the router

a switch can also be suitable

I have the same problem for 2 days on XP. My internet connection drops and when I ask to repair, it shows me an error regarding the clearing of the ARP cache. What should I do?

    Thank you for your help!

ARP cache, this pipe for incoming connections to be deleted is really effective! Thank you.

I have the same problem for 3 days and I can no longer connect to the internet with my phone.

I tried the DOS command arp -d without success.

    If anyone has a solution...

The input information in a DOS window had not been issued and seems simple; I will try that right away.

The error occurred after trying configurations on a Bluetooth device that messed up my network.

For your information, my email connections work if the HTTP is down.

    Thank you, younssbh

The command worked, but the connection hasn't returned.
I restarted the PC, still no internet access.
I went to check my network configuration and there was a surprise.
    The configuration had crashed.
Line 1 default address standard (192.168.0.1) but incorrect because my Wi-Fi router uses a different range.
Line 2 mask is okay, that's generally standard.
    Line 3 gateway - empty.

With such a configuration, I wasn't going to access the internet or see my other computers.

So sometimes you need to re-enable DHCP or enter the correct network settings again.

    - ARP command -

Check the "Wireless Network Connection Status" and note the following parameters:
Interface / IP Address 192.168.0.X the IP address assigned by the router to the computer
Internet Address / Gateway 192.168.0.250 the IP address of the Gateway (check the last digit)
Internet Address / DHCP 192.168.0.1 the IP address of the DHCP server (may be the same as the gateway)

Under Windows - Start - Run
type the command CMD, then at the prompt:
C:\ARP -A and note the physical address [00-1E-2A-F8-B9-B2] for example

C:\ARP -S [Gateway address] [Physical address]
C:\ARP -S [DHCP address] [Physical address] if different from the Gateway

Thank you, the problem is not serious, just go into the NETWORK CONNECTION service and delete the incoming connection.
