MKV on VirtualDub

Hello,

I am looking for a way to open an mkv file in VirtualDub without having to encode it in avi or another format beforehand.

    He doesn't accept files larger than 3.1 GB on my end -_-

      Have you tried an Avisynth script... under VirtualDub?

    He doesn't accept 1080p at my place, only 720p, and even then it's struggling.
